Today’s society is driven by, and held together by, technology. But what space is there for spirituality? How does religion, often seen as outdated, fit into and contribute to this society? What lessons can be learned from the Baha’i writings on science and religion? Can an understanding of the harmony between science and religion help in our efforts for the betterment of the world?

In this course we will look at independent movements that are investigating the relationships between science and religion. We will touch on current thinking about the nature and make-up of the universe. We will consider whether spirituality and religious ideas are being considered in new scientific thought and technology advances. And we will investigate the writings of The Bab, Baha’u’llah and Abdu’l-Baha to see what They have written on this topic and seek to provide some answers to the questions above.
