This course is designed for those who are curious to know and understand more fully the truth of Islam, in order to be able to hold confident, moderate but penetrating conversations with others around this theme. We will reflect on, and learn about some of the concise, authoritative concepts stated in the Bahá’à writings which shed new light and understanding on some of the essential beliefs of Islam.
We will not be able to dwell on details and interpretations of prophecies, sayings and traditions, but the areas we will explore are:
- The finality of Islam, the seal of the prophets
- Succession and schism
- The station of the Báb and Baháʼu'lláh with reference to Islamic expectations
